About the Role
Bolandi Technologies is seeking an experienced Senior Full-Stack Developer with deep expertise in the MERN stack to join our growing engineering team. This is a high-impact role where you’ll take ownership of end-to-end feature development, from frontend interfaces to backend APIs, system architecture, and performance optimization.
You’ll work on production-grade applications used by businesses and workers across multiple countries, collaborating with international teams to deliver meaningful features that scale.
What You’ll Do
Full-Stack Development
- Develop and maintain robust full-stack applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js
- Architect, build, and maintain secure, scalable RESTful APIs
- Build clean, reusable UI components and implement efficient frontend logic in React
- Write maintainable, well-documented code following industry best practices
Security & Architecture
- Implement authentication, authorization, and data security best practices (JWT, OAuth, RBAC)
- Design system architecture that supports scalability and high performance
- Optimize database queries, application performance, and cloud deployments
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, production issues, and system performance bottlenecks
Integration & Collaboration
- Integrate third-party services and APIs including payments, notifications, payroll systems, and identity verification
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality features
- Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards across the team
- Work with international teams across different time zones
Ownership & Leadership
- Take full ownership of features from concept through deployment
- Make architectural decisions and guide technical direction
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to team growth
- Drive continuous improvement in development processes and practices
Required Qualifications
Experience & Technical Skills
- Minimum 5-6 years of professional full-stack development experience
- Strong hands-on expertise with MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js)
- Solid understanding of JavaScript/ES6+, async programming, API lifecycle, and system design principles
- Proven experience deploying and managing applications on AWS, DigitalOcean, or similar cloud platforms
- Expert-level proficiency with Git, branching strategies, version control, and clean coding principles

- Deep understanding of backend architecture, database optimization, and server-side logic
- Ability to work independently and take complete ownership of features
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with experience working on international teams
- Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Nice to Have
Advanced Technical Skills
- Experience with microservices architecture, WebSockets, message queues, and job schedulers
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress)
- Experience with TypeScript and modern frontend state management (Redux, Context API)
Industry Experience
- Background working in startups or fast-paced environments
- Experience building and scaling SaaS platforms
- Exposure to agile development methodologies
- Previous experience in fintech, HR tech, or enterprise software
