About the Opportunity

AIOTAC is offering an exciting Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Internship designed to launch your career in software testing. This is not just another internship—it’s a 3-month intensive learning experience with hands-on exposure to real projects, modern testing tools, and professional QA practices, with strong potential for conversion to a full-time role based on performance.

You’ll work alongside experienced QA engineers and software development teams, learning industry-standard testing methodologies while contributing to actual product releases. What You’ll Do

Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive manual test cases for web and mobile applications
  • Perform functional, regression, performance, and usability testing across different platforms
  • Create test scenarios and test data to cover various use cases and edge conditions
  • Verify bug fixes and conduct re-testing to ensure quality standards are met before deployment
  • Execute smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing as needed

Bug Management & Documentation

  • Identify, document, and track bugs and issues with clear reproduction steps
  • Log defects in bug tracking systems with appropriate severity and priority levels
  • Ensure timely resolution by following up with development teams
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive QA documentation including test plans, test cases, checklists, and test reports
  • Document testing processes and contribute to knowledge base articles

Collaboration & Process Improvement

  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements
  • Participate in design reviews, requirement analysis, and code reviews from a QA perspective
  • Provide feedback on product usability and user experience
  • Contribute ideas to improve QA processes, testing efficiency, and automation strategies
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives (Agile/Scrum environment)

Learning & Development

  • Learn and apply software testing methodologies and industry best practices
  • Gain exposure to automation testing tools and frameworks
  • Understand the complete software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Develop skills in API testing, database testing, and performance testing

What We’re Looking For

Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related fields
  • OR Final-year student currently pursuing relevant degree
  • Strong academic record with good understanding of software concepts

Core Competencies

  • Familiarity with manual testing tools and techniques
  • Basic knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript fundamentals)
  • Understanding of mobile app testing on Android/iOS platforms
  • Ability to write clear, detailed bug reports and test cases
