Position Overview
i-Open Technologies is looking for a Junior Project Manager/Coordinator who is eager to help the project management team. This job includes coordinating projects, working with clients, and providing technical support to make sure that software products are released successfully and clients have smooth onboarding experiences.
You will work closely with our Project Manager to plan out development resources, make sure teams can talk to each other, and help deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Management
- Support all phases of the software development lifecycle with regular progress updates to the Product Manager
- Work with developers, DevOps, IT, and QA teams to make sure that product deployments go smoothly.
- Work with development teams to make technical and functional specifications.
- Help set realistic budgets and timelines for projects
- Help the support and development teams talk to each other and manage their priorities well.
- Work with clients, sales, development, and data teams to plan and carry out deployments.
- Make sure that proposals are complete, clear, and submitted on time to help the bidding process.
- Make detailed project reports for the top management.
- Find and put into action ways to make processes better across teams
Product Support & Pre-Sales Activities
- Help define the product vision and strategic roadmap
- Work with UX designers to make mockups and designs for user interfaces that are easy to use.
- Show potential and current clients how to use the technology
- Give technical help to the sales process
- Get and analyze functional requirements by doing client needs assessments
- Plan how to implement existing technical features that meet client needs.
Documentation & Quality Assurance
- Develop and maintain technical documentation
- Review and approve user documentation created by the support team
- Support acceptance and security testing implementation
- Ensure compliance with quality standards throughout the staging process
- Design risk mitigation strategies for ongoing projects
Training & Team Development
- Give clients training sessions when they need them
- Teach support team members how to use the product and its features.
- Always work with the Project Manager to make processes better.
- Write down processes and make sure the team follows them.
- Help and guide team members when they need it
Required Qualifications
- Strong business sense and the ability to think critically
- Great at talking to people and organizing things
- Skills for giving professional presentations
- Able to work well with software development teams
- Attention to detail and strong project management skills
- Ability to handle more than one important task at once
- Works well with others and is a team player

Work Details
- Location: On-site at our Abbotsford, BC office
- Travel: Minimal, only as specified by management
- Start Date: Immediate availability preferred
