The Opportunity
We are looking for a dedicated Quality Assurance Analyst to make sure that our software platform is top-notch and that our clients have great experiences. This job is great for someone who loves improving quality and automating tests for both regression testing and validating new features.
Your Responsibilities
As a Quality Assurance Analyst at Bankjoy, you’ll be in charge of important testing projects:
- Create, carry out, and keep up with thorough test cases in specific functional areas
- Find software bugs and write down what they are in a clear and precise way.
- Keep important people up to date on the progress and results of testing on a regular basis.
- Do full end-to-end solution testing and regression cycles every three months.
- Work closely with development teams to quickly fix problems and meet delivery deadlines.
- Work both alone and with others on cross-functional QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle
- Follow the best practices in your field and keep high quality standards.
- Take part in agile ceremonies like daily stand-ups, backlog grooming sessions, sprint planning meetings, and retrospectives.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
- At least four years of experience in quality assurance testing
- At least five years of professional experience in environments for software development or testing
Technical Skills:
- Experience with manual testing of SaaS apps on both web and mobile platforms
- Experience using automation frameworks like Cypress and Appium in real life
- A good understanding of software quality assurance methods and tools
- You should be able to use Jira, Azure DevOps, DataDog, SQL databases, Postman, LambdaTest, and Jira Zephyr, which are all standard tools in the industry.
Soft Skills:
- Great at working with product owners, technical leads, and engineering teams to get things done.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with a track record of success in cross-functional settings
- Ability to think critically and solve problems for difficult, unclear problems
- Ability to evaluate the effects of new features on current functionality
