About the Role
Miracle Software Systems is looking for a Senior Software Engineer who has a lot of experience making solutions that are focused on the customer. This job requires a lot of knowledge about object-oriented design and a desire to learn new technologies. The person who gets the job will work closely with teams from different departments to make sure that high-quality software products are delivered through iterative development.
Key Responsibilities
- Focus on what customers need and use object-oriented principles to design and build software products.
- Use what you know about Big Data technologies and look into how they can be used in real life.
- Use iterative methods to lead software development cycles from start to finish.
- Put apps on cloud platforms, like Pivotal Cloud Foundry or Cloud Foundry, if you can.
- Use tools like Jenkins and Gradle to set up Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines.
- Work well with others in a small, co-located, cross-functional team setting.
- To make sure that development is in line with business goals, keep good relationships with business partners, product managers, and designers.
- Help stakeholders deliver Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) that meet the needs.
- Help team members improve their technical skills and make sure they produce high-quality work.
- To make sure the project goes smoothly, talk clearly with both technical teams and larger groups.
Required Skills
- Able to code in both Java and Python.
- Knowledge of Big Data ecosystems like Hadoop and Spark.
- Good knowledge of object-oriented design and the best ways to do software engineering.
- Experience with setting up and managing cloud platforms.
- Experience using CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Gradle in real life.
- Good at solving problems and able to learn new technologies quickly.
- Great at working together and talking to people.
Qualifications
You need a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a field that is similar. Candidates must possess a minimum of six years of experience in delivering software products within a technology-centric environment.
